Position Oil States is currently looking for a qualified candidate for the position of Quality Inspector I in Lampasas, TX.
POSITION SUMMARY Ensures products produced meet customer or in-house quality and specifications requirements. Identifies, records, evaluates and recommends solutions to quality problems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inspects in-process parts visually and dimensionally using required instruments.
Inspects received materials visually and dimensionally through material test reports and certifications.
Completes reports and related paperwork.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Mathematical skills (addition/subtraction, multiplication/division, algebra).
Conversions of decimals to fractions and vice versa.
Utilize blueprints, charts and graphs, customer drawings and specifications.
Verbal and written communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Moderate bending
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Extended walking, standing and/or sitting.
Able to climb stairs.
Must be able to work in temperatures over 100° F
