Aerial Survey Lead
to manage aerial survey operations across multiple offices and deliver high‑quality geospatial data for projects across the Pacific Northwest.

What You’ll Do
Manage an aerial survey team across multiple offices.
Operate UAVs to acquire LiDAR, imagery, and other data types.
Develop and implement best‑practice workflows to improve data acquisition and deliverable generation.
Train and mentor junior team members on BMPs for operation, data collection, and processing.
Oversee equipment maintenance, repairs, and calibration.
Analyze and process collected data using GIS and/or CAD software; create ortho mosaics, digital elevation models, topographic maps, and reports.
Explore additional business lines where aerial survey data can add value.
Identify opportunities to apply aerial platforms to non‑survey work (e.g., crop/vegetation health).
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Surveying, or a related field (preferred).
At least 5 years of aerial surveying experience, preferably in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of surveying principles, coordinate systems, and map projections.
FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot In Command certification and proficiency in UAV operations.
Additional licenses/certificates (e.g., PLS, ASPRS‑CMS) are a plus.
Familiarity with industry standards and protocols such as ASPRS.
Expertise in acquiring LiDAR, RGB, multispectral, and thermal data.
Experience processing and interpreting data to produce final surveying and mapping products.
Strong teamwork and client communication skills.
Proficiency with ArcGIS, Global Mapper, AutoCAD, PIX4D, Metashape, and Trimble Business Center.
Attention to detail and a drive to explore the capabilities of aerial surveying technology.
