Company Background The Houston Dynamo Football Club (HDFC) is a multi-faceted organization dedicated to inspiring and supporting soccer participation and growth in Houston, TX and beyond. The Club’s brands include men’s and women’s professional teams – the Houston Dynamo (MLS) and Houston Dash (NWSL), a development academy, Houston Dynamo Dash Charities, as well as Shell Energy Stadium and Houston Sports Park.
The Club has a rich history, including MLS Cup titles (2006, 2007) and in‑season tournament championships for both the Dynamo (2018 and 2023) and Dash (2020). The focus remains on building toward the next championships, inspiring and uniting the city of Houston through soccer and community outreach, and creating the most inclusive sporting experience with a diverse fan base in the city and state.
Purpose of the Job Dynamo & Dash Charities is seeking to hire high‑energy, motivated sellers who are reliable, organized, and outgoing to serve on our 50/50 Raffle sales team for the 2025 Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash seasons. Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash will host the 50/50 raffle at all home games. This seasonal, part‑time position aims to increase raffle ticket sales and support Dynamo & Dash Charities.
Duties and Responsibilities
This is a seasonal, part‑time position.
Promote the 50/50 Raffle program to Dynamo & Dash fans and explain how the program works.
Actively sell, handle, and distribute 50/50 raffle tickets.
Answer questions fans may have about the 50/50 raffle program.
Effectively meet and exceed established sales goals.
Exhibit a positive attitude.
Perform excellent customer service to all fans.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
Must be able to work 80% of all Dynamo (13) and Dash (10) home matches with variable hours, including nights and weekends, and arrive 2 hours before each game start.
Must exhibit a positive outlook that values customer service while serving a large fan base.
Must have the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
Should have genuine enthusiasm for community involvement within the sports industry.
Should be comfortable with technology (e.g., tablets, printers, card readers).
Possess strong sales and interpersonal skills.
Should have a passion for soccer and the sports industry.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Attributes
Be able to stand for a long period of time.
Ability to go up and down the stairs multiple times during a shift.
Be able to handle cash.
Be able to handle a multitude of weather conditions.
