Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

POSITION PURPOSE The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting daily HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. This role ensures that Human Resources policies and procedures are effectively implemented while fostering a positive workplace culture.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

Assist in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.

Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, employee concerns and workplace issues.

Assist in conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures as needed.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.

Assist in audits and reporting related to compliance and workplace safety.

Coordinate with payroll to ensure accuracy in compensation and deductions.

Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.

Manage leave administration, including Leave of Absences, PTO, and other time‑off requests.

Assist in performance review processes and provide guidance to managers.

Help coordinate training and professional development programs.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

3+ years of HR experience in a generalist role or related HR function.

Proficient in speaking Spanish (preferred).

Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Proficiency in HR software (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycor) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

Standing and walking during employee interactions, training sessions, or meetings.

Speaking and listening effectively in meetings, interviews, and presentations.

Lifting and carrying office materials, such as files, documents, or training supplies (typically up to 20 lbs.).

Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer.
