Review and input necessary information to set up or fund a closed Correspondent loan for purchase. The teammate will review closing documents and loan disclosures to identify key data points. Demonstrate aptitude with communicating electronically. Attention to detail is crucial for this position.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Review closed loan packages for key documents.
Review key data points within the loan package to determine if the loan is acceptable for purchase.
Enter, validate and correct information in Lending Space to ensure data integrity.
Communicate loan defects in clear and concise terms.
Generate reports to assist with production.
Mentor and train other teammates in some areas.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent education and work related training.
Ability to work independently.
Strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with mortgage loan documents.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and related training.
2+ years of experience in lending or finance, preferably in mortgage originations.
Demonstrated proficiency in one or more of the following: Lending Space, Compliance Ease, MSP, FHA Connection, MERS.

Availability: Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
Travel: Minimal and up to 10%.
