SolomonEdwards is partnering with a leading mortgage client to identify a Mortgage Processor who will support daily loan reviews and ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of loan files. This role is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, strong benefits, and long-term growth potential.
In this position, you will play a key role in supporting efficient loan processing operations while contributing to a positive borrower and business experience.
What You’ll Do:
Perform complex data and document validation to ensure loan accuracy
Conduct daily loan reviews to confirm findings and conditions are met
Troubleshoot third-party orders including title, appraisal, hazard insurance, flood certifications, and credit
Complete appraisal eligibility and review tasks
Evaluate loan applications for compliance with product and regulatory guidelines
Handle more complex calls, emails, and chat inquiries from internal and external partners
Perform other related duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
Experience in financial services, with mortgage industry experience preferred
Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working in loan systems
Initial Compensation & Benefits (Contract Phase):
Pay rate up to $23/hour, plus 1.5x overtime pay over 40 hours

This position has a consistently high, on-time conversion rate for contractors who meet performance expectations. At 800 hours (~5.5 months), our contractors are eligible to become permanent employees.
