Fragomen's New York office is seeking a Senior Business Immigration Analyst (Fluent in Japanese) for one of its busy and growing teams. Fragomen helps clients navigate the complex world of global immigration to better achieve their goals. How will you make a difference as a Senior Business Immigration Analyst at Fragomen?

Develop knowledge of the firm, various immigration case types and client processes. Perform tasks related to case preparation and filing of petitions with government agencies, including document gathering, document review, case drafting, and case filing. Communicate with foreign nationals and client contacts, providing clear and prompt responses regarding case status or other general inquiries, with guidance from a supervisor. Meet assigned deadlines that adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and communicate case progress, status, and escalations to supervisor. Compile and summarize large quantities of data within case management systems for reporting to clients, managers, and team. Understand and contribute to team and individual productivity goals. Demonstrate flexibility and initiative. Follow documented firm standards and policies to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational, and client compliance, including data privacy protocols and proper use of tools in line with team and client protocols. Must be Fluent in Japanese Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, Paralegal certification OR experience in a customer-facing or client service-oriented role At least 2+ years of business immigration experience (i.e., paralegal) Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and escalate case issues to supervisor Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents, draft fluent prose, and avoid grammatical mistakes without the aid of AI engines Experience using various computer systems, including MS Word and Excel Desire to contribute to a positive work environment, effectively collaborate and promote teamwork The preferred location for this role is New York City; however, the team is open to considering qualified candidates who are fully remote and based in the U.S. Compensation

The salary range for this role reflects a variety of factors considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, work location, work arrangement, licensure and certifications, and applicable laws. Placement within the range will vary based on these factors, and compensation decisions are made to ensure internal equity and alignment with market data. A reasonable and good-faith estimate of the current salary range for individuals able to work a hybrid schedule in the office locally is: $57,000.00 - $75,000.00 You may also be eligible to take advantage of our benefits offering, 401K, and paid time off plans. All offers and/or employment contracts are contingent upon the successful completion of the Firm’s pre-employment screening process. This process may include verifying the candidate’s identity, confirming legal authorization to work in the offered position's location, and conducting a comprehensive background check, where permitted by local regulations.
