Position We’re looking for a full‑time Foreman 1 to coordinate operations and oversee electricians at construction sites. As the point of reference for both workers and supervisors, the Foreman 1 will be a key person for the completion of a project. Our ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical construction with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to make quick decisions. This person will be well organized and must have a safety‑first mindset.
Responsibilities
Supervise field production activities to obtain top quality workmanship, efficiency, employee satisfaction, morale, communication, teamwork, pride and development of the team.
Ensure work is performed according to company standards and project specifications including planning and managing labor, materials, and production on electrical construction projects.
Create a material Buy‑Out prior to the job beginning.
Plan work and labor requirements for the project for a minimum of 3 weeks.
Complete As‑Built Drawings and order material once a week.
File daily reports and report all incidents.
Manage all project Close‑Out processes as well as budget control (manage the cost on the site).
Communicate efficiently with the Project Management team as well as the customer/GC.
Draft RFI's and submit them to the PM team.
Enforce all HR/Company policies, safety policies, and perform discipline action with crew as needed.
Enter and approve timecards for assigned crew.
Qualifications
3+ years of commercial/industrial foreman electrical experience
Experience working in data center and high‑rise projects preferred
Experience leading crews of 20+ employees
Advanced abilities at reading plans, submittals, and specifications
In‑depth knowledge of NFPA 70 and solid understanding of current electrical codes and installation methods
Well‑versed in the installation of power systems—lighting, fire protection and security, and data networks
Ability to order and track materials, perform job cost projections, and develop as-builts
Proficient at all construction software as required
Clean background and driving record
Ability to run projects $1M and larger
Must be able to reach overhead, lift 75 pounds, and push and pull materials
Must be able to work in a variety of positions, e.g., stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, etc.
Work is regularly performed in outdoor weather conditions where temperatures can exceed one hundred degrees
Pay Range Starts at $40 per hour or more depending on experience.
