We are seeking a passionate and hands‑on
Advanced Mechanical Engineer
with strong technical experience to join our tight‑knit engineering team. In this role, you will work on exciting, fast‑paced design projects, taking responsibility for the design, engineering, and in‑house build of projects. Our projects span across complete vehicle engineering and builds, computer vision & machine learning applications in AgTech and Industrial Automation, aerospace mechanical and control systems, connected car and vehicle telematics, and large battery systems. Responsibilities
Design and engineer projects in‑house from concept to completion.
Test and refine designs to ensure quality and performance.
Collaborate on projects including vehicle engineering, aerospace systems, and industrial automation.
Work with a cross‑functional engineering team to deliver innovative solutions.
Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering efforts to meet project goals.
Essential Skills
Mechanical design expertise.
Proficiency in SolidWorks.
Experience with sheet metal design and GD&T.
Minimum of 5 years of direct engineering experience within the automotive industry and/or engineering services.
BS in engineering required, MS or higher preferred.
Ability to multitask and manage project timing and budget constraints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prototype design and new product development.
Experience in automotive engineering and cradle‑to‑grave product development.
Formula SAE Team Lead experience is preferred.
Generalist with systems‑level design involvement.
Past experience in a startup/small business environment.
Strong communication skills with clients and project teams.
Work Environment Our work environment includes both shop floor and office settings. We offer a Monday‑Thursday 4/10 work week, with unique perks such as access to shop space and tools for personal projects. Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Gardena, CA.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $125,000.00 - $130,000.00 per hour.
