and help exceed regional quota attainment of our Capital & AET product segments. The position reports directly to the Area Vice President of Sales – Service & Enabling Technology.
What will you be doing? Assist in exceeding regional Capital & AET sales quotas by driving clinical adoption, surgeon engagement, and technical ROI through effective pre‑ and post‑sale support. Responsibilities include capital & AET sales funnel development, conducting customer‑facing sales meetings, facilitating on‑site trials and evaluations of S+N capital & AET products, and supporting post‑sale product implementation and engagement.
What will you need to be successful? Work closely with surgeons, clinical teams, and internal stakeholders to maximize impact and experience with Smith & Nephew’s Sports Medicine Capital and AET offerings. Ensure flawless trial execution, maintain a professional representation of Smith & Nephew, achieve positive trial outcomes to boost closures, identify further upgrade opportunities, create collateral materials, and conduct training sessions to enhance evaluations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5‑8 years of capital field sales or related technical support experience
At least 2 years of sales experience with a strong customer‑service focus
2+ years of technical background preferred
Experience with OR video or other Capital‑related products advantageous
Travel Requirements 90% travel supporting capital sales as described above.
Compensation Base salary range: $60,000 – $100,000 USD annually (or hourly). Base pay will be based on experience, location, and internal equity.
