Loan Servicing Representative III (Consumer)
Join Provident Bank, a multi‑billion‑dollar financial institution with branches in New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and New York. This senior level role focuses on the servicing of commercial loans, real‑estate loans, construction loans, ready reserve, and small business loans.
Position Overview
Under close supervision, the representative performs high‑level maintenance and audit functions on the borrowing portfolio, resolving complex issues and training other staff.
Key Responsibilities
Manage commercial loan servicing activities: application of funds, payment of real‑estate taxes, resolve customer inquiries and meet internal/external deadlines.
Set up borrower and financial information in Horizon and ACBS systems, verify accuracy of documents and track interest‑rate adjustments.
Process loan modifications (extensions, rate adjustments, borrower transfers) and ensure approval from Credit Committee or loan officer.
Administer real‑estate tax escrow disbursement reports, liaise with municipalities to resolve discrepancies and answer borrower inquiries.
Handle monthly billing for commercial accounts, ensure accurate mailing and address verification.
Process monthly payments, fees, payoffs, construction and commercial advances, performing necessary corrections.
Train new staff on bank policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications
5–7 years of related experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Strong interpretation of loan documentation.
Clear, concise communication and presentation skills.
Proficient with Horizon and ACBS systems and PC skills.
Excel spreadsheet creation and formula usage.
Self‑directed workflow ownership and problem resolution.
Excellent multitasking capabilities.
Strong organizational and mathematical skills.
Working Conditions
Office environment, moderate noise levels.
Prolonged sitting, lifting 5–10 lbs., occasional bending.
Common office hazards.
Pay Details
$22.26 – $27.79 hourly (may vary by qualifications, education, location, equity).
Incentive eligibility based on company, business, and individual goal achievement and performance.
