Job Title: Architectural Designer
As an Architectural Designer, you will be responsible for producing detailed plans, sections, elevations, and details that convey architectural design and construction information. Your role will involve compiling drawings for the Architect’s approval, production, and distribution. You will identify and communicate design discrepancies, making appropriate modifications to align with the Architect's design intent. Additionally, you will interpret architectural, engineering, or construction drawings and convert CAD drawings and equipment layouts into Revit, providing necessary updates.
Responsibilities

Compile drawings for approval and distribution.
Identify and resolve design discrepancies.
Interpret architectural, engineering, or construction drawings.
Convert CAD drawings into Revit and update as necessary.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
5-8 years of experience in a firm environment.
Ability to create, edit, and place equipment families/blocks.
Strong knowledge of building systems and components.
Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel throughout the tri-state area (KY, OH, WV).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in commercial architecture, BIM, and construction administration.

Work Environment Join a diverse team of designers in a dynamic firm that offers services to the construction industry, private sector, public sector, and government. The firm has recently rebranded to highlight its top-producing architectural work and expanded its offerings to include interior design. Work in an office environment with flexible scheduling options, including variations of 8-hour, 9-hour, and 10-hour days. Some travel to the field is required for measurements of existing buildings and to oversee projects under construction.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, KY.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
