Delaware North Gaming is inviting applications for a full‑time or part‑time Cook to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. In this role you will assist in training team members, preparing food, operating kitchen equipment, and upholding all health codes and sanitation regulations. What You Will Do
Prepare food to comply with portion sizes, quality standards, departmental rules, and procedures; maintain proper temperatures and storage. Keep workstations, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and stocked. Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet. Perform opening, closing, and side work duties and end‑of‑day inventory. More About You
At least 1 year of prior experience in a back‑of‑house foodservice position. Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes. Basic math skills to calculate and follow recipe measurements. No high school diploma or GED required. Physical Requirements
Lift 50 lbs or more and reach up to seven feet. Bend, squat, and stand or walk for the entire shift in moderate to high noise levels. Manually chop, mix, blend, whip foods and liquids, and operate kitchen equipment. Be exposed to variable temperatures. Shift Details
