Loan Closer The Loan Closer plays a key role in completing all due diligence associated with satisfying approval and collateral lien perfection conditions prior to the preparation of loan closing documents. This includes requesting, reviewing, and critically interpreting all third‑party documents needed to issue the "clear to close" for various types of loans, including real estate and non‑real estate secured loans. May reside in one of these locations: AZ, CA, CO, NV, TX, UT The Loan Closer will:
Review loan approvals for closing conditions, regulatory compliance, appropriate lending authority, and lien perfection requirements
Establish conditions to close
Perform all loan closing tasks and proactively interact with sales, portfolio management, underwriting, document preparation, third‑party vendors (e.g., title companies, insurance agencies), and bank customers
Effectively communicate with all parties, including field personnel and customers, to expedite loan documentation requests while meeting underwriting, bank policy, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
4+ years of loan closing, documentation, processing, or other directly related experience
Advanced knowledge of loan closing processes and procedures, lending compliance and regulations, loan systems, and loan documentation
Must be accurate, detail‑oriented, and able to multi‑task
Strong problem resolution, audit, customer service (including direct customer contact), and communication skills—both verbal and written
Solid working knowledge of loan principles and loan systems
Solid computer skills, including proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software
Requires a High School diploma or equivalent. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements
