Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is currently seeking a Sr Principal Performance Analyst Lead to support our Cannon‑Based Air Defense (CBAD) program. CBAD integrates sensors, battle management command and control, and effectors leveraging battle‑proven cannons and a suite of advanced ammunition, ready to defend against subsonic cruise missiles and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) from conflict start to finish. The Performance Analyst Lead can be onsite at any of the following locations Huntsville, AL, Redondo Beach, CA, Fairfax, VA, Chandler, AZ, or Colorado Springs, CO.
Job Responsibilities
Manage, analyze, and communicate findings from large quantities of data produced from mission models.
Lead implementation of data management plan.
Lead the development and maintenance of processing and analytical code base.
Create briefing packages for variety of customer and stakeholder engagements.
Develop the skills and capabilities of junior analysts on the team.
Expected travel of 10% or less.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in STEM related degree with 8 years related experience OR Master’s in STEM related degree with 6 years related experience OR PhD in STEM related degree with 4 years related experience
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Experience with Python, SQL, AFSIM and Microsoft Office Tools
Experience with Data analytics – including but not limited to Insight Generation, ETL/ELT data merging, data reduction, etc.
Experience with Mission Analysis such as US and Joint/Coalition Scenarios and Metrics.
Stakeholder Presentation Experience – Technical and Executive level presentation experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with CBAD mission and system
Customer presentation experience
Team Lead or Manager experience.
Experience in Data Management.
Ability to obtain and maintain TS or SAP clearance
Primary Level Salary Range: $135,800.00 - $203,600.00
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
