Our goal is to emulate the kind of product-led growth pioneered by other small companies—where a high-quality, accessible product spreads organically, builds trust at scale, and ultimately converts that demand into durable revenue.
We are looking for a Product‑Led Growth leader who knows how to design and execute this kind of strategy from the ground up. This role is ideal for a seasoned marketer who thrives in early‑stage companies—someone who can move quickly using much of our existing strategy to execution to drive acquisition, build engagement and set smart priorities with limited resources. Proven ability to drive meaningful, measurable product‑led growth across acquisition, retention, and brand awareness. This is not a traditional marketing role. There is no large ad budget. Growth will come from product, storytelling, community, and distribution loops.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for building out a scalable marketing foundation, leading performance‑driven campaigns, social media presence and aligning cross‑functional teams around data‑backed strategies. You bring a sharp analytical mindset, strong creative instincts, and a bias for action—balancing short‑term results with long‑term brand equity.
Key Responsibilities Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that support customer acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and long‑term retention.
Optimize Social Media Presence
Build a process to gain very qualified leads.
Lead cross‑channel campaigns across email, social media, mobile, paid media, SEO/SEM, and in‑product experiences to drive conversions and nurture relationships.
Partner with Product and Sales teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with business goals and product roadmap.
Customer‑Centric Marketing
Create customers that will be fierce advocates for Goalsetter.
Conduct market research, usability testing, and leverage customer feedback to better understand user behaviors, needs, and preferences.
Segment audiences using demographic and behavioral data to tailor lifecycle marketing strategies and improve engagement.
Customize product promotions and messaging to address specific customer segments.
Performance Marketing & Optimization
Define, track, and optimize against key performance indicators (KPIs), including CAC, LTV, conversion rate, and churn.
Use tools like AWS Quicksight, Google Analytics, Excel, and platform‑specific reporting tools to analyze campaign performance and generate actionable insights.
Lead A/B and multivariate testing strategies to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
Adjust campaign spend and tactics in real‑time to maximize ROI.
Creative Development & Brand Experience
Oversee content and creative strategies that elevate brand recognition and connect with users across digital touchpoints.
Maintain a consistent and compelling brand voice, and ensure a unified brand experience across channels.
Drive content creation for product launches, educational initiatives, and seasonal campaigns to boost awareness and website traffic.
Team Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Manage and mentor a small team to be high‑performing, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Lead regular planning meetings, reviews, and workshops to align marketing execution with broader business strategies.
Act as a cross‑functional liaison with Product, Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to support go‑to‑market plans and product updates.
Qualifications & Skills
Early Stage (Series A) Start‑up track record of building scale effectively and being a team player.
Proven experience driving product‑led growth (early‑stage or scaling)
10+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles in start‑up environments, with a focus on both customer acquisition and retention.
Deep expertise in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and lifecycle marketing.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to synthesize data into insights.
Creative thinker with a high attention to detail and a passion for customer‑centric marketing.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and levels.
Demonstrated success growing a product without relying on paid acquisition
Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, paid social, and content marketing strategies
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
