WeVote is a nonpartisan get‑out‑the‑vote nonprofit startup and a celebrated Fast Forward nonprofit technology grantee. It is a movement of over 60 passionate volunteers building open‑source mobile technologies that touch and mobilize millions of voters on Election Day. We are looking for a passionate and creative Video Editor to create compelling short‑form videos for our social channels and promote WeVote and democracy. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or a comparable non‑linear editor is required; After Effects skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

Edit short‑form videos, ensuring high‑quality output.

Collaborate with producers, directors, and designers to align creative vision.

Enhance videos with color correction and motion graphics.

Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.

Maintain brand consistency across all video content.

Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate innovative content ideas.

Adapt and optimize video content for various digital platforms.

Conduct quality checks and revisions based on feedback.

Maintain an organized library of motion graphic assets and project files.

Requirements

2‑3 years of experience as a Video Editor.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.

Experience with editing short‑form videos and understanding visual storytelling.

Strong sense of visual aesthetics, pacing, and brand identity.

Ability to transform raw footage into polished final products independently.

Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work under deadlines.

Willingness to brainstorm and contribute creative ideas.

Portfolio or reel showcasing previous motion graphics work.

Proactive and adaptable in fast‑paced environments.
