We have a retail thrift store, we will be converting to the new interior design office in Stuart.
Role Description This is a part-time hybrid role for an Interior Designer, based in Stuart, FL, with opportunities for partial work-from-home options. The Interior Designer will manage space planning, create construction drawings, and execute interior design projects. Responsibilities include selecting furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), collaborating with architects and engineers, and ensuring design compliance with project requirements and regulations.
Qualifications
Experience in Space Planning and Interior Design, with an eye for both functionality and aesthetics
Proficiency in architecture and creating detailed Construction Drawings
Knowledge of FF&E selection and specification
Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
Familiarity with design tools and software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other design platforms
Ability to manage hybrid work settings and meet project deadlines effectively
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Experience with building codes and regulations is a plus
