The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating compelling, on‑brand visual assets that support marketing campaigns, retail promotions, partnerships, and internal communications—while ensuring all materials comply with state cannabis advertising regulations and company standards. This role collaborates closely with marketing, operations, and leadership to ensure design execution is strategic, consistent, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities
Design marketing assets across multiple channels, including:
Social media graphics
Email and digital marketing
In‑store signage and merchandising
Print collateral (flyers, posters, bag stuffers, menus, displays)
Event branding and promotional materials
Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in colour, typography, tone, and visual identity.
Prepare production‑ready files for printers, digital platforms, and signage vendors.
Collaborate with marketing leadership to conceptualise and execute campaign visuals.
Adapt creative for different store locations, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
Ensure all creative adheres to state and regulatory marketing requirements.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Qualifications
2–5+ years of professional graphic design experience (retail, lifestyle, or regulated industries preferred).
Strong portfolio demonstrating brand‑driven design across digital and print.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); Canva and Figma experience a plus.
Solid understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and print production.
Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to interpret brand guidelines while contributing creative ideas.
Comfortable working cross‑functionally with marketing, operations, and leadership.
Experience working in cannabis, alcohol, wellness, or other regulated industries is a plus.
