Marketing Manager – Hyatt Vacation Club (Desert Oasis, Cathedral City, CA)
Salary range:
$54,830 - $73,100 (plus Management compensation plan and bonus). Relocation assistance provided.
Job Summary Manages the day‑to‑day activities and overall competence of the marketing workforce, developing strategies, analyzing performance data, and building relationships with sales teams. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluating marketing executives.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans, including budget considerations and forecasts.
Coordinate new marketing initiatives to increase production in channels.
Develop incentive programs to meet or exceed budgeted numbers.
Identify trends and implement solutions to improve production.
Analyze and report on performance metrics such as confirmations, volume per guest, close rate, and employee satisfaction.
Maintain relationships with sales management and sales force; share marketing information and strategy.
Build partnerships with resort operations, hotel linkage, and vendors.
Prepare and conduct team meetings; measure performance against goals.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and recognition to associate performance.
Motivate associates through contests, incentives, and e‑letters.
Provide on‑call support and facilitate conflict resolution among teams.
Deliver and coordinate training programs; develop policies and procedures.
Participate in recruitment, interviewing, and compensation planning.
Ensure compliance with state and federal marketing regulations.
Order, stock, and replenish marketing collateral and supplies.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience with at least 2 years in a similar position.
Proficiency in reading and writing English; additional language required for certain positions.
Travel 20% to 50% of the time; willingness to work weekends and holidays.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to adapt to different cultural contexts.
