Overview Under the direction of the VP of Global Marketing, the Marketing Manager for Fragrance will drive Go‑to‑Market strategy, and execution of global marketing plans for the Fragrance portfolio in the Retail & Travel Retail channels of distribution. The position will lead the pipeline development and go‑to‑market process (liaising with Trade Marketing and other cross‑functional) for all Moroccanoil Fragrance related products.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Develop marketing programs and product launch strategies considering positioning and concept; COG analysis, copy and pricing;

Assist with the Fragrance portfolio strategy and product innovation, identifying white space opportunities for growth in line with brand strategy;

Partners closely with Product Development on product concept, positioning, development, all testing and claims, and communication of technologies and benefits;

Lead the promotional strategy and cross‑promotional support for Fragrance including reanimation plans;

Liaise with cross functional teams in support of on‑time product launch execution (Product Development, Packaging, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Legal/Tech Reg., Finance and Creative);

Partner with Creative and outside agencies on packaging and campaign development and execution;

Help develop and maintain all product information files. Handle all incoming requests for marketing‑related information and assets as it pertains to assigned categories;

Assist in development and execution of Global specific program launch plans for all retail channels in close partnership with broader cross functional teams (Trade Marketing, Sales, Social Media, Education, Digital, etc.);

Manage and distribute brand marketing program calendars;

Interface with Regionals/Markets to ensure programs meet markets’ needs and specifics;

Liaise with Hair/Professional and Body Marketing teams to ensure product mix and support strategy is aligned;

Responsible for initiating and tracking all packaging and promotional artwork from copy documents to final mechanicals;

Initiate creative assets in support of new launches, promotions and seasonal projects to be leveraged across all platforms (print, digital, in‑store); track in‑market performance;

Create, submit and track all marketing job requests in partnership with Creative Operations;

Develop robust data‑driven analyses to drive strategic decision making; perform ad hoc analyses as needed to drive business decisions;

Research and track competitors on an ongoing basis; keep abreast of new product launches, promotions, advertising, etc; identify brand‑relevant recommendations/opportunities;

Help prepare agendas, presentations and materials for up‑coming meetings, both internal and external

Any others the Employer may consider essential in ensuring the normal operations of the Employer’s business processes and that falls into the category of expertise of the Employee;

Skills & Abilities

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field;

5+ years of Fragrance marketing experience required; preferably in luxury/premium categories

Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);

Knowledge of the broader Beauty Industry, an asset.
