Community Rehabilitation Team – Arbroath Infirmary

With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week. There will be no change in full‑time pay.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist with relevant post‑graduate experience to join the Angus Physiotherapy Service. As part of the Community Rehabilitation Team in Angus, which sits within the Angus Health and Social Care Partnership, you will:

Provide high quality evidence‑based assessment and rehabilitation for inpatients on the MFE wards at Arbroath Infirmary.

Contribute to discharge planning and play a key role in the transition of care from hospital to home.

Take responsibility for training and supervision of junior staff, support workers and students.

Carry a caseload of community patients across south Angus, including musculo‑skeletal, neurological, orthopaedic and respiratory cases.

Actively involve in the Angus Parkinson clinic and the delivery of the better‑balance programme.

Maintain a close working relationship with other MDT members and participate in Enhanced Community Support (ECS) meetings across the locality.

Travel across the locality as required.

Within Tayside, we actively support the NMAHP Development Framework both locally and within the AHP Directorate working closely with our AHP colleagues.
