Do you have a passion for automotive sales, a knack for building dealer relationships, and a drive for results? Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) is looking for a District Sales Manager to add to our South Regional Sales team. You will support 11 dealers across Tennessee, North Mississippi, and Alabama, and your work will directly help our partners sell Mitsubishi vehicles and accessories profitably while delivering an excellent buying experience for their customers.

Summary Of Role The District Sales Manager is a business‑consultant role that partners with dealers and the MMNA Regional Management team. You will set sales goals, deliver training and marketing support, monitor compliance, and work with dealers to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Attain district wholesale and retail sales objectives.

Coordinate wholesale, retail vehicle, and P.O.E. accessory sales activities with dealer principals and managers.

Develop and maintain long‑term, professional relationships with dealers within the district.

Provide consistent direction on policies, procedures, and best practices.

Monitor dealer adherence to policies and participation in sales, marketing, and advertising programs.

Report non‑compliance situations to region management and recommend solutions.

Analyze dealership sales, market penetration, and vehicle inventory.

Recommend marketing and promotional strategies to maximize sales volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Educate dealers on marketing channels and online reputation platforms (social media, Google Star, Cars.com, etc.).

Enroll dealers in the latest marketing programs and services.

Assist dealers with Mitsubishi logo and website compliance.

Ensure dealer sales staff is trained using Mitsubishi’s Academy, MiShowroom, and MiDelivery.

Research and resolve outstanding incentive payments for dealers.

Support utilization and claiming of RDA and Co‑op funds.

Coordinate, plan, and implement sales strategy in collaboration with district counterparts.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Preferred: 3+ years of professional exempt automotive retail/wholesale experience or prior automotive sales experience (e.g., Sales Representative, Sales Manager, F&I Manager).

Prefer Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.

Extensive travel required.

Valid unconditional driver’s license with an MMNA‑approved driving record.

Pay Transparency The base salary for this position ranges between $90,000 and $100,000, depending on role, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
