Senior Cook
The Senior Cook works at HCA Houston Healthcare West, preparing and cooking a wide variety of meals while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. The role involves managing production staff, ensuring timely service, and continually improving recipe execution and presentation.
Base pay range $17.00/hr – $20.00/hr

Work days / shifts Varying shifts, days/hours. Open availability preferred.
Responsibilities
Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events.
Follow complex recipes and/or product directions.
Produce small to large batch goods using a full range of classical and contemporary cooking, plating, and garnishing techniques.
Provide oversight of the production staff, train and assign tasks.
Attend work and show up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
Perform other duties as assigned, which may vary by business needs and client requirements.
Qualifications
Team‑oriented, adaptable, reliable, and creates a healthy/safe working environment.
4 or more years of related work experience preferred.
