How can you make an impact? We're looking for a

Sales Representative (Eastern Massachusetts)

to join our team. Reporting to a Senior District Sales Manager in our School Sales Organization, the Sales Representative will be responsible for driving Prek‑12 sales across Eastern MA by connecting with faculty and key stake holders at the school and district‑level. Sales Representatives are experienced communicators who are highly organized, data‑driven, and have the ability to quickly learn and leverage new technologies to maximize the impact of McGraw Hill solutions on educators and learners. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit – is willing to seek out, engage and close business all while working in a dynamic/complex environment. Intellectual curiosity and an appreciation for educational institutions are keys to success in this role.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. This position requires 75%+ travel. Candidates must reside in Eastern Massachusetts.

What you will be doing:

Achieve and exceed sales goals by advancing the sale, building strong customer relationships, expanding market penetration, and crafting competitive, revenue‑driven solutions.

Develop deep expertise in the K‑12 space, including fragile populations, by building and maintaining customer profiles, identifying and influencing customer needs, and expanding new contacts and customers.

Plan and execute strategic territory and marketing initiatives with strong organization and follow‑through, prioritizing customer bases to ensure availability, visibility, and effective promotional activity.

Leverage technology and independent learning by proficiently using and adapting to multiple software programs, platforms, and devices while conducting research and synthesizing information from diverse resources.

Collaborate and communicate cross‑functionally with internal partners and key stakeholders to influence sales, marketing, and product development strategies while supporting a positive, team‑oriented company culture.

Operate effectively in a remote, travel‑intensive role, traveling up to 75% by ground while responsibly managing company resources including a company vehicle, credit card, home office, and computer equipment.

We are looking for someone with:

Bachelor's degree with a demonstrated record of high achievement and consistent success.

Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, including a strong understanding of the K‑12 space, paired with a competitive spirit and drive to succeed.

Strong collaboration and adaptability, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and adjust to change.

Independent, creative problem‑solving ability, including the capacity to think outside the box and take initiative.

Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and time‑management skills, supported by proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel.

Operational and physical readiness, including the ability to travel up to 75% (with occasional overnight stays), a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The pay range for this position is between $67,700 – $87,000 annually. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
