The CAP Specialty Account Executive acts as the CEO of their book of business, owning the overarching strategy for revenue growth, diversification, margin health and excellent client service. They are consultative sellers, brokering complex creator partnerships that span beyond transactional media. They partner with the Customer Service team and frequently Large Customer Sales (LCS) counterparts to deliver bar raising results for CAP and our clients. They are experts in the creator economy, the needs of their customers, and efficient ways of working cross functionally.

Key Job Responsibilities

Owns C suite client and agency relationships and builds accounts by establishing trust and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work

Manages quarterly strategic team initiatives outside of account list, determined quarterly

Leads calls and meetings to uncover needs, provide updates, negotiate contracts, and receive project feedback

Continually develop quality and quantity of opportunities needed to achieve territory goals, providing regular funnel activity/updates

Achieve monthly KPIs including, but not limited to pre-determined number of face‑to‑face customer presentations, quotes and wins

Manages client projects from beginning to end and works with internal teams on timelines, internal and external communication, resources, and deliverables; delivers project timelines to clients and proactively keeps documentation and project management software updated

Cultivates and seeks new opportunities within current clients and agencies; prospects new clients and assists in the creation and delivery of pitches

Reviews all assigned work to ensure quality control and the achievement of the finalized goal

Manages project finances ensuring accountant has all necessary information for billing and invoicing

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of media sales experience

10+ years of entertainment marketing, audio, or other media sales experience

Experience building client and agency ad partnerships

Experience using data and analytics to drive sales strategy and results

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

Experience with C-level sales and strategic partnership building

Experience with podcast sales, video sales, or audio programs

Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

Experience with negotiation and relationship building skills with sales teams (ideally with content creators, agencies and brands)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives.
