Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans for assigned markets, named accounts, key channel partners, and emerging sectors.
Business Development: Identify, create, and close new opportunities that support growth objectives and exceed sales targets.
Consultative Selling: Apply a structured sales process to uncover client needs, articulate solutions, and communicate insights to internal stakeholders.
Value Proposition Delivery: Craft persuasive proposals and presentations that highlight MSA’s competitive advantage and technology-driven capabilities.
Collaboration & Teamwork: Partner with internal sales teams to drive performance, refine connected/SaaS selling skills, and share best practices.
Channel Engagement: Build strong relationships with channel partners to oversee implementation of connected solution strategies and programs.
Customer Success: Negotiate, close, adopt, expand, and renew opportunities with key customers, ensuring long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
Solution Selling: Position MSA’s complete service offerings as integrated solutions tailored to customer needs.
Desired Skills & Experience
Proven track record in successful B2B sales, with emphasis on solution-based selling.
Demonstrated success in gas detection or technology sales.
Strong business acumen and expert negotiation skills.
Self‑motivated, critical thinker with ability to execute strategic sales plans.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
Creative approach to sales with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
High proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems.
Passion for advancing worker and worksite safety through technology.
Ability to collaborate across teams and overcome customer objections with innovative solutions.
Outstanding organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
Analytical and quantitative mindset with proven ability to leverage data in decision‑making.
Entrepreneurial drive with a bias for action and results.
Understanding of solution and services selling techniques, including cloud‑based solutions.
Ability to negotiate and close large, complex connected service opportunities.
Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience (4 years of relevant work experience may substitute).
Roles & Levels
Sr III: 5 years of sales experience
Sr IV: 6 years of sales experience
Executive I: Minimum of 8 years of sales experience
Seniority level Associate
