Job Overview As an integral member of our inpatient team, you will share in providing a healing environment for pediatric patients and families on pediatrics, pediatric ICU, burn ICU, and burn step down unit by providing developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions. You’ll comply with hospital policies and procedures. You will also participate in discharge planning, patient documentation and psychosocial assessment as well as Quality Improvement and Patient Satisfaction activities.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelors level degree in any of the following or related fields: Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Adolescent and Family Counseling, Special Education.
Child Life Internship required
Certifications and Licenses Required
Child Life Certification required within 1 year of hiring
