Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for an enthusiastic part‑time
Retail & Community Engagement Manager
who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community. In this role, you will work within a dynamic team offering a unique menu selection from scratch‑baked bread and pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches made with honest, whole ingredients.
Availability Must have morning/daytime availability. Available to work Monday–Friday during peak lunch traffic hours; Saturdays as needed. Additional hours during November and December, including weekends and extended hours. Work Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. Responsible for organizing and leading a team to support the execution of Holiday baskets and merchandise.
Merchandising Primary responsibilities include greeting and welcoming guests, daily basket making, stocking shelves, personal shopping assistance, inventory management, cleaning, organization, and assisting front‑of‑house restaurant operations when needed. Attend and participate in weekly management meetings.
Community Engagement Engage local schools for Knead Dough Fundraiser events, provide Home Office with necessary info and paperwork. Host Knead Dough community partnership fundraising events. Partner with marketing and Home Office to host brand‑wide events, classes, and store events. Work closely with General Managers, District Leadership, Regional Leadership, and Home Office team to ensure successful store events that reflect the brand and provide exceptional customer service. Engage and facilitate partnerships with realtors and title companies to drive gift basket and catering sales for the restaurant.
Qualifications
1+ years of customer service/retail experience.
Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards.
Flexible schedule; shifts vary week to week, starting as early as 7 am – 10 pm Monday–Saturday.
Must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for this position.
