The Account Executive is responsible for promoting medical equipment and supplying products to all assigned prospective accounts. The role develops and maintains productive working relationships with doctors, hospitals, medical schools, retail companies, and care facilities. It also involves researching new equipment, conducting sales calls, ensuring customer satisfaction, making pricing recommendations, and assisting area personnel as needed.
Responsibilities
Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of area sales functions, including conducting sales presentations, demonstrating product features, utilizing consultative questioning to understand customer needs, prospecting new accounts, negotiating price and credit terms, meeting or exceeding sales quotas, forecasting long‑range account sales, and entering customer data into the database.
Maintains and strengthens relationships with customers and external trade contacts, ensures customer satisfaction, obtains feedback, resolves complaints and delivery problems, promotes the company’s image, and participates in trade shows.
Works closely with Company personnel and management by setting sales goals, tracking progress, providing assistance to area personnel, keeping management informed of market changes, and completing required sales reports and expense records.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
Recognizes that duties may be modified or reassigned based on business needs.
Qualifications
Associate degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline; relevant education and experience accepted in lieu of a degree.
Valid driver's license.
6+ years of experience in medical sales, preferably selling capital equipment into hospitals.
Good knowledge of medical equipment products and understanding of competitive conditions.
Knowledge of hospital operations, buying processes, and clinical and financial goals.
Knowledge of sales and marketing techniques and principles.
Competencies
Strong interpersonal, public relations, and oral presentation skills.
Well organized and problem‑solving abilities.
Proficiency with computer applications on a standard laptop.
High personal motivation to achieve goals.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Effective independent and collaborative team work.
Compensation Your compensation includes a $90,000 base salary and quarterly MBOs. There is also an opportunity to earn a Variable Incentive through commissions earned above the value of completed MBOs.

Working Conditions
Schedule:
Regular hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday‑Friday, with possible holiday, weekend, and evening work.
Physical:
General requirements include reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying up to 25 lb., finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, and color vision.
Travel:
Approximately 80 % of the time.
Location:
Must reside in the assigned territory.
Access to Customer Sites:
The position requires vendor credentialing, proof of vaccinations (including COVID‑19), and related medical information. Typical vendor credentialing expenses will be paid/reimbursed by the Company.
