They prospect, qualify, and help sign new Kumho Premium FUEL dealers, building relationships and creating new rooftop opportunities for the Kumho brand. A successful FSD leverages strong people skills, basic industry knowledge, and proven sales fundamentals to drive initial engagement and hand off high‑potential opportunities to the broader sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Execute in‑field sales activities, including:

Basic product and program education

Profitability/performance discussions using standard tools and reports

Identification of upsell/cross‑sell opportunities across the full Kumho catalog

Deliver simple presentations and product demonstrations; provide dealers with sales tools, POP materials, and basic training on Kumho products and programs.

Collaborate closely with sales leadership (RSMs) to:

Prioritize target accounts and daily routes

Support follow‑up visits and closing activities

Meet territory sales and rooftop development goals, especially in the LTR segment

Gather and report market intelligence (competitor activities, dealer feedback, pricing and promotions, brand perception) using company templates and CRM tools.

Act as the voice from the field by sharing regular feedback on Kumho products, programs, and marketing to help shape product development, marketing, and pricing decisions.

Maintain accurate records of visits, calls, contacts, and opportunities; submit timely weekly activity and pipeline reports.

Assist with monthly FUEL sales compliance and performance reporting for assigned customers, including pattern, size mix, seasonality, and market engagement trends.

Support local and regional marketing initiatives (ride & drive events, dealer meetings, trade shows, etc.) as needed.

Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in field sales, inside sales, or customer‑facing roles; experience in tire, automotive, or related industries preferred but not required.

Strong interest or passion for PCR/LTR tire products and willingness to learn Kumho’s product portfolio quickly.

Demonstrated ability to:

Cold‑call and initiate conversations with new dealers

Build rapport and maintain ongoing customer relationships

Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.

Basic proficiency with MS Office tools and CRM or call‑reporting systems; ability to learn new digital tools and reporting templates.
