Job Summary We are seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join our Physical Therapy clinic. The Physical Therapy Aide supports Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants by assisting with patient care activities, preparing treatment areas, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, energetic, compassionate, and eager to work in a patient-focused healthcare setting.
Responsibilities Assist patients with exercises and functional activities under the supervision of licensed staff Prepare treatment areas and set up equipment before patient sessions Clean and sanitize equipment and treatment spaces between patients Assist patients with transfers and mobility while ensuring safety Transport patients within the clinic as needed Observe patients during treatment sessions and report concerns to clinical staff Stock supplies and maintain clinic organization Support front desk and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Interest in physical therapy, healthcare, or rehabilitation Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision Ability to maintain a positive, supportive environment for patients Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Prior healthcare or physical therapy clinic experience preferred (not required)
