Job Summary The Field Account Executive position is responsible for new account penetration and sales growth in an assigned territory. The position requires building professional sales relationships with assigned customers in all distribution channels. The account executive will utilize a consultative selling style and operate independently on a daily basis. Advancement to a Senior Account Executive Sales role is available after establishing a track record of success. The role is for the Brooklyn, NY territory and requires residing within approximately 20 miles of the territory radius.
Responsibilities
Meet and exceed projected sales goals based on territory quota established by sales management.
Use a disciplined approach to selling to uncover and meet customer needs, fully understanding and implementing the CVI sales platform.
Maintain territory call cycle with a minimum of 4 pre-set appointments per workday.
Respond to customer phone and email inquiries within 24 hours.
Probe to understand customers’ business, assess needs and profile the account.
Formulate and execute an effective call cycle plan to grow territory business; prepare account business plans with the Regional Director.
Develop new business within the geographic territory.
Maintain technical proficiency with CVI products and competitive products.
Keep current with industry trends and analysis, e.g., Health Product Research data.
Integrate and train customers on the CVI suite of technology and value‑added products and services; sell the value‑add benefits of tools to enhance the customer experience.
Develop customer marketing plans and promotions to grow business and monitor return on investment.
Use Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and advance skills through training and daily use.
Use CRM tool daily and prepare reports to analyze product, account sales and overall territory growth.
Participate in state and regional optical shows when requested.
Submit all administrative reports on a timely basis (call reports, expense reports, ROI reports, etc.).
Manage diagnostic contact lens sets in customer locations, including installation, removal, and transport, lifting up to 50 lbs as required.
Travel Requirements
Independent territory travel from the remote employee home office, required several days per week.
Travel within territory expected 80% of the time.
Travel outside the territory for conferences, site training and regional meetings, 10‑15% of the time.

Experience
5‑7 minimum years of sales experience in any industry; tangible product sales experience desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of direct related experience (high school + 12‑15 years or similar).
Passing a background check, which may include verification of prior employment, criminal conviction history, educational and motor vehicle records.
A valid driver’s license and proof of minimum level of insurance coverage and satisfactory driving record.

Compensation:
For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $79,936.00 and $106,581.00 per year and may include cost‑of‑living adjustments. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
