Job Title Manager, Sales



Ultra Clean Technology

(Locations: Phoenix, Austin, Hillsboro)

Job Summary Responsible for developing, maintaining and expanding relationships with OEMs and driving revenue growth based on key strategic initiatives. The role requires a versatile, business‑oriented individual with strong communication skills, cross‑cultural relationship expertise and flexible hours to meet customers worldwide. This position includes one or more direct reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Define and execute strategic sales/account plans derived from product line and segment sales strategies, achieving yearly sales objectives.

Communicate weekly and monthly progress and issue reports for key accounts, offering next‑step recommendations.

Provide sales forecasting for the Sales Plan.

Leverage UCT technical staff to support sales activities.

Handle quotations and negotiate sales agreements.

Collaborate with inside sales to monitor account activities and update client databases.

Deliver presentations to existing and prospective clients.

Map key organizations in the value chain, increasing coverage and network within account organizations (engineering, technology, operations, purchasing).

Drive opportunities to closure, identifying new application opportunities and coordinating resources to achieve closure while tracking volumes and margins.

Position new value propositions at target accounts and communicate them to the market.

Collect market information and convey current and emerging needs to support value‑proposition development.

Respond to client technical questions, pricing, and concerns, collaborating with inside sales specialists.

Excellent presentation and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to persuade and influence customers.

Extensive knowledge of our products and assigned accounts.

Solid business acumen and analytical aptitude.

Ability to collaborate with management, peers and clients.

Self‑management and meeting deadlines independently.

Proficient with databases (CRM, LIMS) and office software.

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Mathematical and statistical competence.

Solid knowledge of general chemistry and analytical instrumentation.

Educational/Certification Requirements BS degree in Chemistry or related field, or equivalent directly related experience.

Work Experience Requirements Minimum four years of successful sales or customer‑relationship experience.

Work Environment Professional office setting with standard equipment (computer, telephone, etc.). Occasional exposure to fumes, mechanical parts and moderate noise.

Physical Demands Regular talking, hearing, standing, walking, hand use, occasional lifting up to 20 lbs, and visual requirements. Reasonable accommodations available.

Travel Requirements Regular off‑site and overnight travel away from primary job location.
