We are currently looking for an Associate Account Executive to join our growing team. The Associate Account Executive will support the account team and make a meaningful impact on the day-to-day work through a first level understanding of the business (i.e., basic terminology, processes, relationships, and priorities). The vision of the Associate Account Executive expands to the client/company relationship, internal team players, and the company’s basic deliverables.
Responsibilities
Assist the account team(s) in a variety of aspects of our promotional medical education activities
Developing project briefs and status reports
Conducting research
Attend, prepare material for, and schedule weekly meetings
Interact with internal departments to coordinate work
Interact with clients as a supporting member of the team
They may occasionally attend scientific and industry meetings to provide administrative support to senior team members
Learn and master the client’s regulatory/review process
Shift their thinking from a task-oriented view to a project-oriented view
Keep excellent records and is a self-starter with the ability to both anticipate and take direction well.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or other related field.
A background in the Life Sciences is helpful.
At least 1 year of previous experience, preferably in Healthcare/Pharmaceutical Advertising or similar.
Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, good communication skills.
A customer-service and team-oriented focus.
This role may require limited travel, including occasional weekends.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
