Job Description As a Charge Nurse at Miller’s, your responsibilities include:
Providing nursing care to patients on your shift.
Following the Comprehensive Care Plan for each patient.
Assisting the Unit Manager with thorough and accurate documentation when needed.
Supervising the direct resident care personnel on your shift.

Qualifications (General)
Currently licensed and registered to practice as a professional nurse in Indiana.
Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening.
Pass the required physical examination for gainful employment at the facility.
Maintain a professional manner and appearance.
Job Knowledge
Knowledge of nursing policies and procedures.
Administration of medication and awareness of possible side effects and treatment administration, including local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to resident care.
Comprehensive knowledge of nursing practices.
Understanding of physical, psychological, social, and medical needs of residents.
Understanding of the organizational structure and duties of employees under supervision of the unit manager.
Other
Competent in supervision and leadership.
Displaying a caring attitude.
Observant.
Fostering and maintaining a good working relationship with other staff.
Good judgment and emotional stability.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Exposure Category I Tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
Part Time Night Shift Weekend Option 10 PM - 6 AM
