is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to join our team!

Position requires weekdays only – no holidays, weekends, nights, or on‑call duties.

SurgCenter of Plano was established by clinical personnel to offer safe, high‑quality surgical care. Specialties include ENT, Orthopaedic/Total Joints, Sports Medicine, Podiatry, and Pain Management. The center is accredited by the Joint Commission, licensed by the state of Texas, and eligible for Medicare.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare patients for X‑ray procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Operate X‑ray and other radiologic equipment to capture diagnostic images as ordered by physicians.

Adjust equipment settings to achieve optimal image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.

Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and equipment maintenance reports.

Assist radiologists or physicians during specialized imaging procedures when required.

Ensure proper sterilization and cleanliness of equipment and work areas.

Monitor and maintain radiologic supplies and report equipment malfunctions.

Adhere to hospital or clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and ethical standards in patient care.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.

Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or equivalent state licensure.

1‑3 years of clinical radiography experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and patient care skills.

Knowledge of radiographic imaging principles, anatomy, and radiation safety.

Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.
