Part‑Time Sales Associate – Famous Footwear Your role as a Famous Footwear Sales Associate is to create a welcoming environment and in‑store culture where customers say, “I’ll take it” and remain loyal to the store, its brands, and the company. You are a team player, celebrating successes and staying informed about trends to build engaging customer experiences. Most importantly, you LOVE shoes and help every customer experience a little bit of that Famous Feeling.

What You’ll Be Doing

Ace Retail Operations: ensure daily store tasks (pricing, shipment processing, fulfillment and inventory) are dialed in, keeping the store running smoothly and organized.

Be a Famous Culture Influencer: champion the Famous culture with pride, embodying the behaviors that power our Customer Connection, and provide stellar customer engagement.

Elevate to Your Goal‑Crushing Era: bring your best each day, take accountability for effort and impact on store performance, review performance and drive sales to achieve goals.

Act with Integrity: uphold company policies and procedures, seek feedback and improve your skill set.

Be a Shoe‑off: be a shoe sleuth on the hunt for the perfect styles, make recommendations and ensure customers leave with the perfect fit.

Essential Functions Other responsibilities may be performed as needed to ensure the needs of the business are met. Overtime hours may be required to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications & Education

High School Diploma or GED.

Ability to build constructive relationships within the store.

Positive communication with store associates at all levels.

Independent judgment and discretion when partnering with the Store Sales Manager.

Strong knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.

Effective teamwork ability.

Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.

Physical Requirements and/or Environment

Regularly lift up to 40 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height using proper equipment and safety techniques.

Walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull, and repetitively lift frequently.

Mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
