Pay Range: $39.12 - $58.68 per hour

Summary Salary range: $39.12 - $58.68 USD Hourly

Sign‑on Bonus: $10,000 or Educational Sponsorship available

Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates

Work Schedule/Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm plus call

Essential Job Functions

Identifies cardiac anatomy according to age of patient, as well as, cardiac anomalies, heart disease and pertinent clinical information and communicates this to the cardiologist.

Assists the cardiologist with patient exams and identifies any changes of patient clinical circumstances which may alter the exam protocol and performance.

Performs computer analysis and demonstrates competency in making quantitative calculations of echo data. Reviews echocardiograms for quality and completeness and cardiologist’s preference.

Collects and reviews all required clinical information prior to performing exams and communicates information to the physician and co‑workers, i.e., patient history, pertinent symptoms, etc. Assures that a written physician order is received prior to an exam performance and reviews charts to ensure that proper exams are performed.

Provides education appropriate to patient procedure and within scope of responsibility.

Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

Sonographer | North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) | American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) | Within 18 Months of Start Date | HR Primary Sources

Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) | Cardiovascular Credentialing International | Within 18 Months of Start Date | HR Primary Sources

Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association (AHA) | Within 90 Days of Start Date | Learning Management System

Notes

Temporary ND license accepted prior to start

Can be registered with ARDMS or CCI

Education Required: Associates – Cardiac Sonographer‑OR‑Associates – Related Field

Work Experience Preferred: A minimum of 1 year Related Experience

Language Requirements This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.
