The Floor Tech position provides the maintaining and upkeep of carpet and hard surface floors.

Job Summary The Floor Tech role involves cleaning and maintaining floors, ensuring safe and attractive environments for building occupants.

Responsibilities

Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

Sometimes uses ladders to dust and wash furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures. Washes and replaces blinds.

Merges water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.

Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors.

Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment.

Basic Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten‑year work history if available.

No experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.

No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.

Preferred Qualifications

Customer service experience.

At least 1 year of similar work experience.
