Eaton’s Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is seeking a highly skilled Leader to oversee the asset care and reliability maintenance programs across 11 manufacturing facilities in North America. This remote position is open to candidates residing in the United States.
The GEIS division has 128+ years of experience enhancing efficiency, safety, and reliability for our customers. Our strategy focuses on growth, innovation, and building capability across a dynamic, evolving market influenced by energy transitions, digitalization, and continuous efficiency drives.
The expected annual salary range is $130,000 – $190,000, with eligibility for a variable incentive program. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and market considerations.
In This Role You Will
Create and oversee comprehensive maintenance strategies that include preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Manage the lifecycle of manufacturing assets, including procurement, installation, maintenance, and decommissioning, ensuring all assets are maintained in optimal condition.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in maintenance and reliability, using data‑driven approaches to enhance equipment performance and reduce operational costs.
Provide functional leadership and mentorship to Plant Managers and Plant Maintenance Managers, building teams’ capabilities in the latest maintenance techniques and technologies.
Build and maintain a high‑performing plant maintenance organization capable of working in both heavy industrial and technologically advanced factories.
Promote process standardization across the organization and integrate preventive maintenance solutions into the operating system model in collaboration with manufacturing engineering.
Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost‑effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and safety.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations and company safety standards, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with production, engineering, and procurement to coordinate maintenance activities and support overall operational goals.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance activities, analyzing data to identify trends and improvement areas.
Basic (Required) Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or eight (8) years of maintenance management experience.
Minimum ten (10) years of experience with progressive accountability in Manufacturing/Operations, Maintenance, and/or Manufacturing Engineering.
Minimum seven (7) years of plant manufacturing leadership experience.
Employment in this position does not include support for immigration sponsorship or related visa plans.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering).
MS or MBA degree.
Experience successfully implementing maintenance strategies that improve equipment reliability.
Certified Black Belt from an accredited institution.
Knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS).
