Join Google DeepMind as an Sr. AI Product Designer on the Gemini App, focusing on our Information Verticals. Key responsibilities:

This role requires a blend of creative problem-solving, strong leadership, and a proven ability to translate complex user needs into impactful design solutions.

  • Lead the design of innovative experiences that drive feature discovery and enhance user engagement within the Gemini App.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, UX researchers, data scientists, and marketers, to define and execute growth strategies.
  • Develop a deep expertise in user needs across various geographies, platforms, and audience segments, leveraging this understanding to inform all design decisions.
  • Collaborate with other design teams across the organization to align roadmaps and ensure seamless integration of discovery and engagement initiatives.
  • Translate complex user insights into actionable design solutions that deliver measurable value to our customers.
  • Elevate design craft and champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.

You are a pivotal and highly impactful Senior Designer, capable of independently driving major design initiatives for AI product experiences. You thrive in complex, rapidly changing environments, consistently delivering breakthrough design and effectively aligning diverse stakeholders to achieve significant user value.

  • Fluency in AI product design process: Leverages AI expertise, data and user insights, to craft impactful design solutions and drive product innovation.

In addition, the following would be an advantage:

  • Growth and discovery expertise: experience in driving successful growth and discovery initiatives for digital products.
  • AI Prototyping: ability to build functioning prototypes to demonstrate ideas and drive cross-functional alignment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $178,000 USD - $265,000 USD + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
