Pay Rate: $62/hour

Duration: 1 year

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UX Researcher to support a large, enterprise‑scale airline company within its digital customer experience organization. This team is responsible for improving customer- and employee‑facing digital products used across booking, travel, operations, and internal platforms.

This role focuses on understanding user behavior, validating design decisions, and ensuring user‑centered insights directly inform product strategy and execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative user research studies
  • Conduct remote unmoderated testing and moderated usability sessions
  • Analyze research data to uncover user needs, behaviors, and pain points
  • Use analytical tools and basic programming to support research insights
  • Synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Present research results to designers, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to support product development initiatives
  • Help define and execute research strategies aligned to product objectives and OKRs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in: Human‑Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Visual Design, Behavioral Sciences, Psychology, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of user‑centered design principles
  • Hands‑on experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with: SPSS, R, SQL and database queries, Basic programming languages
  • Experience using remote unmoderated testing tools and moderated testing platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to present insights clearly and persuasively to stakeholders
  • Experience explaining recommendations using research data, UX best practices, and business requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate across UX, product, engineering, and business teams,
  • Experience owning or contributing to research strategies tied to product goals and OKRs
