Cash Applications Specialist
We are looking for an experienced Cash Applications Specialist to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will manage customer payments and ensure accurate application across various financial platforms. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, is detail-oriented, and has a strong background in accounts receivable processes. Responsibilities: Post and apply customer payments daily (ACH, wire, check, credit card) across multiple entities Reconcile customer accounts and resolve unapplied cash, short-pays, deductions, and credit discrepancies Maintain supporting documentation for accurate cash application and audit support Prepare and process credit memo applications and conversions Communicate with customers and internal teams to obtain remittance details and resolve discrepancies Support month-end close through cash receipt reconciliations and reporting Assist with administrative tasks, special projects, and ongoing process improvements as needed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of prior cash applications experience in high-volume, fast paced environment Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills Excellent attention to detail with the ability to respond quickly and accurately Clear verbal and written communication skills; professional, customer-friendly demeanor Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; NetSuite experience a plus Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
