Electrical Assembly
Assist the team in the mechanical and electrical builds of customer products. Candidates must be proficient in reading and understanding wiring schematics and diagrams, particularly point-to-point wiring. Experience in crimping, pulling, terminating, and installing electrical harnesses and sub-assemblies is required. Responsibilities: Perform electrical and mechanical assembly, including panel wiring, while adhering to safety, quality, and customer specifications. Assemble finished units per customer specifications, including pulling wire, crimping, installing, and testing wiring and wiring harnesses using voltmeters and ohmmeters. Perform part replacement on tools as needed and according to schedule. Resolve routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct, close supervision, with output monitored frequently. Follow detailed written or verbal instructions, including visual aids, diagrams, and schematics. Ensure that the assigned area is clean and organized per 5S standards. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. Coordinate with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish. Keep inventory personnel informed of spare parts inventory and locations for ease of order fulfillment. Perform real-time testing for point-to-point testing to ensure accurate wiring and no issues with the wires or housing. Essential Skills: 1+ years of experience in electrical wiring and assembly with wiring schedules, schematics, or visual aids. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, graphs, and schematics. Proficiency in using hand and power tools for electrical assembly. Ability to operate a personal computer, including using a Windows-based operating system and related software. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Schooling experience in lieu of hands-on experience is acceptable (TCAT, Delta Tech, Moore Tech, Southwest). Must pass an assessment. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $27.50 - $27.50/hr.
