Join our team to create a variety of simple to complex forming, semi-permanent progressive dies. You will be responsible for performing full layout work and jig boring, setting up machine runs, and collaborating with engineers and department supervisors on the workload of new products and existing tools and dies. Responsibilities: Create simple to complex forming, semi-permanent progressive dies. Perform full layout work and jig boring. Set up machine runs. Collaborate with engineers and department supervisors on the workload of new products and existing tools and dies. Essential Skills: Blueprint reading Fabrication Sheet metal fabrication Tool and die making Tooling Machining Die repair Die making Stamping Press Brake operation Sheet Metal work Understanding of GD&T Progressive die making Die maintenance Additional Skills & Qualifications: 2+ years of Tool and Die Making experience or a 2-year tech degree in Tool and Die Ability to build/repair tools from parts blueprints and work instructions 5+ years of Tool and Die making in a stamping shop (nice to have) Why Work Here? Work Environment: Work in a dynamic sheet metal shop equipped with punch press and brake press machines. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, MN. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
