$25.00/hr. (Depending on experience). Schedule: Day Shift, Monday
Friday. Summary: In this role, the Optical Fabricator will support production by manufacturing custom lens assemblies and precision optical systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in optical systems and components, experience in glass fabrication, and the ability to use root cause analysis tools to identify and resolve issues. Tasks and Responsibilities: Perform optical fabrication tasks including CNC curve generation, CNC centering, hand beveling, blocking, hand grinding, and CNC/conventional polishing Conduct optical inspection and metrology using precision instruments Follow layouts and schedules for generation, blocking, grinding, and polishing areas Maintain cleanliness of machines, tools, equipment, and the general work area Comply with all health and safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Support company values, including ethical conduct and high integrity in all actions Complete other duties as assigned This job might be an outstanding fit if you Have a High School Diploma or GED (Required) Have 2+ years of experience in optical fabrication or related manufacturing (Required) Possess a high degree of accuracy and alertness when using precision measuring tools and high-speed cutting wheels Are experienced with JDE MRP software Can work in noisy environments and wear cleanroom attire when needed Apply today and TEXT "Start" to (585) 902-0334 for more information!
