Client service and underwriting support role. Work will be performed onsite Monday through Friday. Opportunity for contracting to hire the right candidate. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Account Clerk to support our commercial insurance underwriting operations. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of support related to policy processing, billing, rating, and other operational tasks not requiring a license. The ideal candidate will have strong professional acumen and a commitment to data integrity. Job Duties:

Perform accurate and timely data entry and process support of commercial insurance information to support underwriting processes. Assist the underwriting team in managing billing, rating, and operational tasks across new business, and renewals. Review and verify policy documents, applications, and endorsements for completeness and accuracy and ensuring data consistency. Communicate with underwriters, brokers, clients, and internal teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure smooth workflow. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive client and policy information. Generate reports and assist with audits and compliance as needed. Perform general administrative duties to support the insurance operations team. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor, or associate degree preferred or commensurate industry experience in lieu of college degree (high school diploma or equivalent required). Experience in the commercial insurance industry supporting underwriter activities. Experience with certificate of insurance management. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook) and computer proficiency. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
