Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Fitter to join our team, responsible for utilizing drawings to fit and assemble structural steel products for a variety of industrial projects. This role involves participating in the layout and assembly of structural components for steel fabrication, ensuring that all established fabrication procedures are followed. Shift:
First shift 6am-2:30pm M-F Pay:
$28 - $32 to start! Responsibilities Utilize drawings to fit and assemble structural steel products. Participate in the layout and assembly of structural components for steel fabrication. Read and understand drawings, codes, and specifications. Ensure all established fabrication procedures are followed. Fit to D1.1 and D1.5 bridge code standards. Fit vessels/tanks to specified codes. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and structural steel assembly. 3-5 years of experience in FCAW welding. 3-5 years of experience in structural fitting. 3-5 years of experience in fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications Candidate must successfully pass a drawing test before employment is offered. 3 years of experience in the structural steel fabrication industry.
