About the Role
The Senior Superintendent will oversee field operations on landmark projects exceeding $100M. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record delivering major commercial, K-12, and healthcare projects within the Bay Area. Experience working on DSA or OSHPD projects is a significant advantage.
Responsibilities
- Full on‑site supervision of large‑scale construction projects from groundbreaking through closeout
- Management and mentorship of field teams, trade partners, and project support staff
- Coordination with project management, owners, architects, and consultants to maintain schedule, safety, and quality standards
- Overseeing site logistics, sequencing, inspections, and problem‑solving in real time
- Ensuring all work adheres to local code, DSA/OSHPD requirements, and company standards
Qualifications
- Multiple years of experience as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent delivering $100M+ projects
- Strong background in commercial, public K-12, and hospital/healthcare construction
- Demonstrated success managing large field teams and complex construction operations
- DSA or OSHPD experience is a major plus
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to drive collaboration on multifaceted projects
- Deep familiarity with the Bay Area construction landscape, standards, and trade partners
